Waiting for the opinions of demonetisation-defenders on the serious black money, hawala allegations against Kerala BJP leadership. How is it possible that so much money in liquid cash was being transported and exchanged, when there is restriction on cash transactions above Rs.2 lakh in India? Also, what is the source of the Rs.400 crore that has reportedly been allocated for election expenses in Kerala alone, where the party has won zero seats? These questions have to be asked since quite a few innocents were branded terrorists for asking questions after demonetisation, which played a key role in destroying our economy. Not to forget the kind of propaganda that they spread against co-operative banks in the state, which holds small savings of lakhs of people. These questions also have to be tied with the legality of the opaque electoral bond system, which has enabled the ruling party to corner a huge chunk of all electoral funding, without revealing the sources. The source gets revealed in the policies that the Govt later pursues, from anti-farmer laws to creating the apt environment for corporate plunder of Lakshadweep.

Crass, over-rated, agenda-driven anchor of a right-wing television channel claims on live TV that he was threatened by the ED during his show. The theatre sector in the state has been struggling over the past one year due to COVID-19. This live drama on television, to burnish the reputations of a discredited channel and anchor, known for their closeness to the saffron party, will be watched with apprehension by the theatre groups here. For, not even on the stage have they done that kind of drama.
