Sangh Parivar’s bulldozer justice
BJP-ruled states have found a novel way to address the delays in our justice system. Instead of waiting for verdicts from Courts, which have already been conveniently discredited, the Sanghi Governments send in bulldozers to raze down the houses and shops of the alleged accused, who always happen to be Muslims. In Khargone in Madhya Pradesh, saffron extremists took out violent rallies through areas where mosques are located, and attempted every trick in their book to stir up trouble. But none of their houses have been bulldozed, while those who put up even mild resistance had their homes razed the very next day.
Adityanath was the first of the BJP CMs to bring in this bulldozer justice system, which their propaganda news channels presented to the world as part of his Government's stellar law and order record. Now, more BJP CMs are copying the idea, seeing all the cheerleading from bloodthirsty sangh followers. What the Sangh Parivar is trying to bring back is the justice delivery system of the feudal era, when upper caste rulers and local jenmis could do as they want against minorities and the backward castes. It took long years of struggle and evolution to have a Constitution and a justice system which look just atleast in letter, and despite many violations, holds out some amount of hope for the oppressed. Delivering punishment without even a namesake trial is unheard of in the modern world, a fact which is lost on the medieval monsters who are cheering for this.
What we are witnessing right now is the bulldozing of the Constitution and whatever is left of our justice system. Demolitions without trial and summary executions will be the order of the day under these Indian Nazis. If this is not resisted and put an end to, the bulldozers and guns could arrive at your doorstep too, over some imagined crime.
