When asianet gets roasted...
On the one side is a right wing news channel management speaking through its editor, deftly evading all questions raised by CPI(M) leaders while deciding to boycott the channel, and refusing to even acknowledge that their anchor indulged in undemocratic behaviour. On the other side are left leaders like M.B.Rajesh, M.Swaraj and P.Rajeev who have countered the editor with much clarity and grace. The only point being raised is the lack of democratic behaviour in news discussions anchored by Vinu, wherein left leaders are pitted against four others (including a partisan anchor and a partisan, fraudulent "nireekshakan") and given 7 or 8 minutes to reply, with a million interruptions from the anchor.
They all have repeatedly said .."ask questions by all means, but do allow us to reply". It is this one point that the much celebrated editor evades from, and then goes on to raise baseless allegations, like accusing the CM of preferring a monologue, at a time when he is answering questions from press persons on a daily basis, on most evenings. The other attempt is to somehow push the same old apolitical propaganda of "all of them are same", by drawing parallels to past scams, when there is no evidence of that sort to link this government to the gold scam, in which the arrested owes allegiance to both sides of the opposition.
Asianet and its mouthpieces will take some time to recover from the roasting that they got today from M.B.Rajesh and M.Swaraj, whose videos(uninterrupted by the barks from a dictatorial, sangh agent anchor) are now garnering lakhs of views.
